[continued from here]
It was going to be a good day.
They'd gotten to the stadium nice and early, thankfully didn't have to deal with or worry about parking, and had managed to get into their seats before the crowds had really gotten bad so there'd been a minimum of pushing through crowds. Their seats were a bit far up since Clark wasn't exactly Steve Lombard's favorite person, but they could see the field and the jumbotron meant that they'd have a good view regardless.
...not to mention the fact that they both had enhanced vision.
Clark was passing Jim a water bottle he'd smuggled in in his pack bag when he saw that an attendant was heading towards them, clearly looking from a piece of paper in his hands towards the both of them and back again a few times. Clark took the opportunity to scan him to make sure he wasn't armed, checked his heartrate to make sure he wasn't preternaturally calm or overly amped, and carefully shook his head at Jim to indicate that there was nothing to worry about.
