Clark's there when he gets there, back in his usual plaid shirt, t-shirt, and jeans, looking just a little bit drained. It's obvious half of his attention is elsewhere but he's chatting with Lois as Jim walks in and turns to greet him pleasantly enough.

"All dropped off. Glad to see you got in okay."
