When he got out of the showers, Clark was waiting in the locker room, dressed in civilian clothes, looking tired but mostly satisfied. Arms rested on his knees, he looked over at Jim and gave him a warm smile of appreciation before leaning back and tipping his head at him.

"Steve and Diana are up with Lois. Or at least, that's what I can hear. I... haven't been up yet."

He let his eyes close.

"Been a day, huh?"
