Lois looked at the water bottle she'd bought and popped the top, obviously thinking.

"Can't say I wouldn't have appreciated it if it was me, though. Girls deal with a lot of shit in a day. Having someone step up..." She sipped at her water.

"And at least it wasn't Diana. Diana might have done something permanent."
