Lombard gave Jim a very dirty look before giving Kent a roll of his eyes and stalking off. Clark nearly collapsed against Jim in the now-empty hallway, his shoulders shaking just a bit in withheld laughter. One arm slipped around Jim's shoulders.

"Sorry about that. I had to get a few of the letters and one of those packages off the cart."
