Steve's eyes slipped shut for a moment, just soaking in the touch.

"Used to keep me grounded, you know. You kept me warm, yeah, reminded me to breathe and rubbed my back and all that. But mostly, you just reminded me about the good parts, kept me fighting. Never was much good just fighting for me."
